Need help
I own a 92 drop top Firebird. Its the v-6. I was driving down the street, i attempted to shift to reverse and then i wasnt able to shift to anything but park and neutral. we were thinking it might be the gearbox or the linkage cable. any ideas?

Its either a failed shifter cable, shifter, or inside the transmission. start at the cable first.

found out two bolts the connect the linkage cable to the transmission were gone....(not sure why) But got bolts and im up and running again!!! thanks for advise.
