An 85 Z28 flywheel.
All other parts from your 86 will work.
Make sure that 327 has accessory bolt holes needed to bolt up your brackets too.

A flywheel from 86 up will not work because they changed to the different bolt pattern on the crank.
A flywheel from 81 back will not work because it will be 14", and won't fit in the T-5 bell housing. This would include the one from a 78. Whoever thought they needed that for a T-5, was mistaken, and in for a rude surprise.
I don't know whether a 82 flywheel will work.
I know FOR SURE a 83-85 F-body V8 one WILL work. You will find there are 2 such FWs; one, which came on the high-perf cars (L69) will be about 16 lbs, the other which came on the non-perf cars (LG4) will be about 22 lbs.
Therefore stick with 83-85.
Be EXTRA DOUBLE SURE your heads have the accessory bolt holes in the ends. Otherwise you will onlt be able to install minor conveniences like .... an alternator .... with $$$aftermarket$$$ brackets.
Also, make sure your block has the 78-up starter bolt hole pattern drilled in it. No starter that works with the 12.8" flywheel will work on a block that doesn't have the bolt pattern for it. Remember that: NO STARTER EXISTS that overcomes the lack of the bolt hole. If it's not there, get it installed BEFORE installing the motor.

Order either the L69 or LG4 verson, say, for an 85 (two-piece rear seal and 153 teeth). FYI, the 86 bolt pattern is different as 86 was the first year for the one-piece rear seal.JamesC

look and see what starter is on an 85 camaro its either straight or staggerd bolt holes than make sure that 327 has that bolt pattern this so the starter will match up to 153 tooth 10.5 flywheel
