Re: Torque Converter?

If you search, you'll find older threads describing the use of a converter from the S-010 pickup - behind a 350 it stalls nicely for street at about 2200 rpms - about 1000 rpms higher than your stock converter. Cheaper than buying a "brand name" aftermarket converter, and close to what most street folks use (2400 rpms). Mine has been fine with my 350 for 5+ years now, and (back then) it only cost me $135 shipped from gmpartsdirect.com
