Newest Model That Will Fit

What is the newest model of Trans Am/ Z28 rear end that will fit under a 85 Camaro ??

Found one out of a 98 , wondering if it will fit !!

Yes a 4th gen rear will fit in a 3rd gen

Will that being 2" longer cause any problems with clearance, performance or drive-ability ?
