Switching rear ends
My camaro's rear is worn out(pinion gears), and my buddy is offering a rear off his firebird for cheap.
Now my question is, can the rear end off an "Automatic" firebird, bolt up easily to a "Manual" camaro? Will the drive shaft connect?

Re: Switching rear ends
Only differences are the proportioning valve between disc & drum rears and the rear axle width of a 3rd gen vs 93 vs 98-02.
The shocks, LCAs & springs mounts are in identical locations between all of them.
