hi i put a 84 camaro trans in i didint notice it had a electronic port in the side if i dont plug that in will my transmission still shift? and if possible could i mabye take it out and put a speedo hookup in and will my speedometer work then?

Put in TCC lockup.

Yes that is if it is the spedo port on the tranny just count the teeth. I switched from cable to electric.
