i just swapped a 4th gen rear end with discs onto my third gen and all is well except the hand brake cables do not look like they will work with the rest of the handbrake assembly, do i need the e-brake cables from a 3rd gen with discs or something else?

you need the hnadbrake cables for the fourth gen rear.

When I did this swap I needed the 4th gen cables to the center cable link then modified the 3rd gen center link to accept them
