Highest stall with Painless TCC kit?

What is the highest stall and biggest cam you can run and still have the Painless TCC work?

Re: Highest stall with Painless TCC kit?

Any camshaft that starts to produce good power, will at apx. 2,500rpm, start to pull good vacuum. If the lockup rpm is low, then this might be a slight problem. What is the duration of the camshaft at .050" lift? And the lobe separation? Stall really does not have anything to do with it. Lockup will come on in 3rd & 4th gears, when there is enough vacuum. I have not had any complaints so far with anyone using this Painless setup.

I have the stock stall and a small cam and my Painless 4th gear lockup is perfect. Just hoping it stays that way with a bigger cam and higher stall.
