So should i rebuild my old tranny or buy a used one from hawksthirdgen for 350$... if i rebuild it that will run me a grand because i wouldn't be the one doing it but then again i would know that i have a good strong tranny. So i just wanted to know what everyone's options are.

Re: Buy used or rebuild?
personally i shouldnt even reply to this because i have never messed with transmissions before, i would get it rebuilt because then you will know that its rebuilt and if any problems persist you can take it back to the shop. If you choose to buy a used transmission you may get unlucky and have it blow on you down the road and have to buy yet another one...

Re: Buy used or rebuild?
Well the original one would have trouble taking off and it would not take off fast and then i put another one from another T/A i had and that one took off in second gear and then it got stuck in 1st gear and would not shift at all....that happened from a failed burnout (i think it overheated)
