Re: Carb rebuilt, still no start, stumped. No fuel?
We eventually adjusted the carb linkages and were able to get the car to idle inconsistently around 2000 RPM, i never did check the fuel pump, but I do know that it is definitely a manual crank powered pump, so the only issue it could have would be a hole in the pump diaphragm, however it appears to be nearly complete, and just needs to be tuned and receive a full tune up. But this car will unfortunately be going on the back burner as my new 1988 Sport coupe 2.8L MPFI will be taking priority, and we are in the process of moving the cars around, very likely the 60,000km 2.8L block will be the doner eventually for a full rebuild into the 1988. As they always say, it takes 3 camaros to make a good one, cheers guys. I may start another thread for the 1988, but not quite yet.
