700r4 tailshaft end-play
How much is the tailshaft of a 700r4 supposed to move around? Up and down I mean.
I have some vibrations, and was checking for missing driveshaft weights and the u-joints when I noticed it. I figure there'd be a little, but I'm curious how much. There's no fluid leaking around the shaft throught he gap between it and the seal.

The slip yoke is the rearmost support of the output shaft.
When it's installed, that movement should be virtually none.

I'll have to get the car up in the air tomorrow and measure how much it moves.
