I was going through and cleaning up an 87 Camaro I just bought. It is equipt with a t5 and as I was pulling out the radio I noticed a little black box behind the radio that says "oem replica controller" and also says "manual transmission calibrator" it has adjustments for 4-6-8 cyl as well as a small recessed dial for "centering position calibration". Any idea what this is? I will post up a picture in a few minutes

 

 

My guess is aftermarket cruise control system.
