Drivetrain whine

Looking for help. Have a 91 z28 that had a rearend whine. Ended up being a pinion bearing failure. Replaced all bearings and changed gears to 3.73.
Now that the rear has seemed to quiet down, it sounds like I have a whine from the transmission (700R4) area. It can be heard while accelerating and decelerating but quiets while at a steady speed. Anybody's experienced comments and suggestions are welcome.

Re: Drivetrain whine

Hmm. No one with advice?
Maybe I can help myself think this through. What I failed to post earlier was right before the rear started howling, I installed a set of Eibach Sportlines. Whats the chances that I need to get an adjustable panhar bar? Could the whine be a result of the rear shifting?

Re: Drivetrain whine

Well, here's what I did. Installed a Hotchkis adjustable panhard bar. The whine is gone. The lowering must have put the drive shaft out enough to cause a whine. Back on the road again!!
