If the rear is a 10-Bolt, check here:

If a 9-Bolt, check here:

Ok its a tpi 305 5.0ho auto 86 trans am 9bolt with 3.27 so it should bolt right up to my 88 tbi 305 would there be any good difference to the swap other then the luxury of 4 wheel disk and limited slip? i dont race or get down on my car at all

Yes, it'll bolt up, though you'll need to consider a disc combination valve for best brake performance, parking brake cables, and probably drive and/or driven gears for the trans if you want the speedo to read correctly. All good if you wants discs (though the standard iron Delco-Moraines aren't the best), L/S, and a better gear ratio.
