Needing to find a new 700R4 for my '84 Trans AM with a built 350. Came across a low mileage recently rebuilt 700R4 from an 80's Corvette for a decent price. I can see that the tail shaft housing is different, but it also appears it is shorter? Is the output shaft itself shorter as well, and if so is it enough to matter if I were to just swap my original tail shaft housing over?
