Question on a 700r4 with 350 V8 driveshaft length

I have a 85 Camaro that I am installing a 350 V8 with a 700r4 tranny, what is the driveshaft length that I am needing. I have been reading several posts that have been throwing out a length of 41 1/2 from center of U joint to center of U joint. Is this correct?

Welcome to TGO, Lagmar.

Yes, 41 1/2" U center to U center. The 85 OE drive shaft should be a perfect fit.
