Hey guys..

This was a swap into my 72 Chevelle, but you guys know your r4's. I installed a 700r4 and TCI SS Fighter (lock up) in my chevelle. Everything buttoned up, and wanted to take it through the gears on the jack stands to check my work. I found it turns the wheels with the trans in neutral (by turn, i mean the thing is doing 15-20 mph) and it over powers my rear brakes.


I was thinking converter, but just doesn't seem to fit with the power to the wheels at idle. Searched some threads here, and some with a bad converter have experienced the no-neutral though.

Ideas?
