Torque Converter

I bought my '87 TPI swapped 1986 Z28 this weekend. The car had sat for a while so I was taking it easy when driving it. While I was trying to power up a hill, the clutches in the converter fried and it slips now. Needless to say, I was pissed. Now that I have to swap it out, I'd like to get a bigger stall converter. Any suggestions on brand or stall? The motor has a mild comp cam, hypertech chip, TPI set up, 1.6 rockers, and a fresh 350 shortblock (<1000 miles). The trans is a rebuilt 700R4 and the rear has the 3:73 ratio. I eventually want this to be a track car and put a blower on it, so I'd like to have my trans ready to support that. Suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Torque Converter

Also figured I'd throw this out there... how difficult is a T5 swap in a 3rd gen? I T5 swapped my mustang and it was a very easy job. (I'm new to camaros, I just switched over from the dark side)
