finally a 100$ t5!

So I was browsing through craigslist and
Came upon a t5 for 100$.
I thought eh what da hell Il buy it.
After I got it I looked at the id tag and turns out its
A world class t5 out of a turbo thunderbird.
Now since its A world.class I was.thinking of mating
It to my 355 build.

What all do I need To make this work?
I've got the bell housing.
I don't have a flywheel nor clutch. So what brand clutch
And flywheel should I use.
I know the input shaft has to be changed. But is that it?

I plan on rebuilding the tranny wether it works or not.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: finally a 100$ t5!

slip yoke on the driveshaft needs changed. Not sure if the trans. total length changes too. Measure though.

input as you said; there are multiple lengths; the gear tooth count must match the old one. Since the 60deg V6 bell that mates to the Ford T5 is a 4th gen item, you'll probably need to go with an input from a 4th gen T5.

tailhousing and shift rail if you want f-body shifter location. Ford trans. mount is straight up; GM is angled too.

ford to GM speedo cable adapter

So, savings might be a wash.
