Rear end change over

Well after my mate changed the pinion oil seal and over tightened the nut the diff has sounded like a tank, luckily I have a disc LSD one in the back and was planning on changing it over and now it's time.
My question is I've bought all new discs, pads and callipers but fitting the calliper on the passenger side I've read it needs to be a flex(rubber) line and the drivers side a hard line, can anyone confirm this and if anyone has any pics it would be great

Though it's typical to see a flex line on one side and a hard line on the other, some early cars, perhaps 82-83, were equipped with hard lines to both sides.
