Gear ration from 3.08 to what?
My 84 camaro has the stock hear ratio of 3.08:1 I did some build up of the engine and I want to build the rear end so I have a little more torque.
Some people told me that I should go to 4.10:1 I though that's a little too much? I wanna be able to drive it bu still have some fun

You need to post up a lot more background info before you'll get any advice that's really helpful.

I've got a 4:10 in my '91 and it's a blast. I first made the swap when I still had the factory 305, and it made a big difference. If you have a 5-speed you'll really like it. Know I've got a carbed 355 in it, and I'm sure when I get the tuning done I'll enjoy it even more.
