i got a 89 iroc with a t56 from a 97 ss took my engine out replaced gaskets and seals minus head gaskets, put everything back with the same clutch got it started and now i feel like a grinding/ tapping noise im thinking is my throwoutbearing or pilot bearing/bushing? any info on what the problem could be?

so im looking for a clutch kit since im ready to pull my trans out is this competition clutch kit worth it? or should i buy a zoom stock from summit or go with ram, centerforce or mcloed? i know competition is much cheaper and ive read so many good reviews on it i just need a site that will sell the stage 2.5 for under 300 anyody knows anything let me know thanks

your buying a seperate clutch disc??
or going with the kit from autozone?

 

I did the same thing and it's been working great. You use the pressure plate from the Autozone clutch kit with the McLoed disc.

 

Hmm you spending 400+ doesnt sound bad might just do that

 

If im pushing around 280-300 is a stock one good or the zoom from summit? Or is a stage 2 better ?
