my 86 suddenly began not shifting out of first untill 45 mph and 3500 rpm second to third ,same deal .where before it would shift normally.250 miles ago i changed the fluid /filter and added two bottles of lucas brand trans conditioner.there wasnt any debris in the pan when i serviced it.it dosent slip when it shifts from 1st to 2nd it chirps the tires.the 2 to 3 shift occurs around 60 mph and 4000 rpm.i suspect some part of the valve body may be sticking.but i know nothing .it goes in gear immediatly.the only thing is, its now acting like it has a shift kit ,but it dont!!!! what is going on here?? has anybody run into a similar situation with a 700-r-4?? im out of ideas

 

Have you tried to re adjust your tv cable ?
