Anything to watch out for when doing this swap? I've heard that the 86 and older weren't built quite as sturdy, but I'm getting one that's basically brand new (only a few thousand mi on it) for $250. Any parts I'll need to swap over? just any general tips and advice?
Also, while the old one is out, should I consider a higher stall torque converter? it's gonna be behind a mostly stock 5.7 so I don't know if it would be any good to put one on.
