transmission lock up

Transmission: 700 r4
transmission lock up
I was told that the 700 r 4 tranny will still lock up with non ccc carb and non electronic dizzy. Is this true as long as I keep the computer?

Not really. The computer will go into limp-home mode with the injectors gone, and lock-up will be unpredictable and infrequent. Plenty of instructions for how to wire your own on the cheap, just Google it.
