Refilling lt1 style clutch after reassembly
What is the correct way to refill clutch/slave assembly ?
Does the slave need to be fully depressed then reconnect everything then top off fluid Reinstall and pump brakes to bleed any air in system with cap off then reinstall cap ??
That's what I did wounder if it's right tho
Does it matter if slave fully depressed or extended to fill since its a self adjusting ?
Thanks

it has to be filled and bled. Fill the reservoir. If the slave has no bleeder screw, you need to let it hang with the pushrod side down at about a 45 degree angle, and manually push the piston in and release until all the air is forced out. add to the reservoir as needed.
DO NOT PRESS THE CLUTCH PEDAL WITHOUT HAVING THE SLAVE HOOKED TO THE TRANS, IT WILL BLOW.

Yea i filled the system and lt1 style doesnt have bleeder screw like ls1
You mean push on slave piston correct ? Not the clutch pedal rod ...
so kinda same concept as with everything installed and pumping clutch pedal but
Your way seems to make more sense and better way to do it
If only installing my trans was that easy I'm on day 2 and no luck lol
Thanks A million
