Part number for RUBBER Torque are bushing???
Part number for RUBBER Torque are bushing???
EDIT - sorry, meant torque ARM
Hi everyone - well I was ready to swap out the ujoints today when it was brought to my attention that the whomping noise I hear on acceleration may be due to a bad torque arm bushing. I've spent a good part of the evening researching this on the forum and it's been very helpful. The only question I can't find an answer for - where can I get a rubber torque arm bushing? Everywhere I'm going online (local stores / online stores) all I see is Poly. Does anyone have a part number or something for a rubber bushing? Thanks everyone!
P.S. I've made up my mind on the Rubber one (please don't try to convince me to go with Poly).

You can't. You MIGHT be able to get a whole bracket from GM (it would take both pieces to renew it); probably cost half of what the whole car is worth. Not a good plan.
First thing to do, is to figure out why you don't want to do the sensible thing, but instead are so determined to replace it with more of the same thing that already failed once. Not sure how you got convinced that that's A Good Idea?
