New or rebuild?
I have a 350 in my '84 Camaro and the tranny needs replaced. I'm considering getting a TCI package, but am wondering if it would be just as good, and maybe cheaper, to have the 700r4 that's in it rebuilt with stouter parts.
The motor is putting out about 350-400 hp or so. Any advise?

I'm not very knowledgeable about replacing transmissions, especially something not stock, so...thanks for your help guys.
