Hey everyone,

so today i was driving my 84 trans am down the road with no issues, then i floor it to try and keep up with the fast paced traffic and notice the tach on the car shoot from 1000RPM to 3000RPM real fast, i pop it into non OD thinking maybe the OD went berserk. By the time i got home, the car refused to shift 1st to 2nd until it hit almost 5000RPM! I check the fluid an it was at an okay level and even put a little more in there for safe measure.

i dont know if my Tranny is done for or if its something else im not thinking of so if anyone knows i would really appreciate it!

Well it sounds like it is gone to me but you never know. Check that the TV cable is still there and adjusted correctly, that is about all you can do without pulling it apart.
