4L60E TC lock up
Im being told that you need to find the wire from the brake switch that has 12v with foot off brake pedal, all i seem to have is a wire with 12v with foot on brake pedal and no power with foot off pedal. Its a 86 iroc and i have 2 brake switches at the pedal ones for cruise i guess, do i need a different brake switch or am i just not finding the wire? both switches have 2 wires coming out of them.

What colors are the wires at each switch ?
Pull the wires off , put a DVM on the terminals of each switch and see which switch is NO and which one is NC.
Do they swap position when the pedal is pushed ?( the switch may be faulty )
Typical GM TCC wiring below

Yes both connectors, 2 wires each connector, have power on one wire... I think one is orange and purple and the other is blue on both, not 100% sure though. Theres one switch with a vacuum line and it was broken when i got under there, i put it back together though but quite possible i put the plug in backwards maybe. I appreciate the diagram! Havent been able to mess with it yet, to many other cars keep crapping out. just put a 3rd fuel pump in my 03 suburban in 7k miles!
