Bought a new 700r4 trans for 1988 iroc z28 a few weeks back. got it in fine and everything got to putting in the shift cable and it wouldn't shift got on the inside saw a bolt loose and fixed it and it shifted. took it out for a drive all gears work only problem is when in park it doesn't Lock in park. It however will work if the shifter is Inbetween park and reverse. Also a clicking noise comes from trans when the car is in reverse. Any ideas what could fix either or?
