700R4 TCU?
I saw this on TV a few days ago. I think it might have been on Performance TV. They showed a new controller for the 700R4. I think it had inputs for RPM and TPS. It had lots of adjustment *****. It was like a cruise control module that pulled the TV cable. Anyone know anything about it?

Re: 700R4 TCU?
The 700 doesn't have a "TCU".
It's all mechanical and hydraulic. (except for the converter clutch)
A 4L60E would be a candidate for that; but not a 700.
Something that electronically operates the mechanical stuff would be kinda cool; but even better would be, a plain old VACUUM MODULATOR, so that the transmission responds to ENGINE LOAD, instead of throttle position. Common sense. Not sure whose brilliant idea it was to go back in time to the throttle position crap, but that's about 99% of what's inherently wrong with the 700. (the other 1% being the stupid wide 1-2 step)

Re: 700R4 TCU?
I did a bunch of googleing and found it. Turns out it's only for the E transmissions. Those idiots on the show called it a 700R4. It was on Lokar Car Show.
