Hello,

I am doing a midplate sway from LT1 to LS1 midplate. I was wonding if there is any tips on how to remove the bearing and shim from the Lt1 without having to go to the mechanic shop to do it? I am going to reuse the shims and bearings again because it never be used. Should I heat the aluminum midplate and what do I pull the bearing out with? I dont want to mess it up.

I am bit confused how to measure the midplate to get the right amount of shims for the new LS1 midplate. I cannot find any sort of information how to measure the midplate clearance without seeing a picture or instruction.
