700r4 lockup?

I have the pigtail for the trans lockup function is it possible to wire a switch in where the cpu was hooked up to the pigtail. and the lockup function still work? I know they make kits for the lockup just was thinking about other possibility as well

If the stock wiring is intact , all you have to do is cut the wire that went to the ECM ( tan /blk ? ) and run it to ground through a switch.

Switch on ;lockup on and lockup dis-engage when you brake
