Picking up my Trans Swap this weekend, will it fit in the trunk?

I'm most likely taking a 5 hour round trip this weekend to go pick up a complete T5, possibly T56, conversion kit. Now, I was advised to go ahead and take an SUV because the parts are so big, however I'm dying for a fun road trip, and fun and SUV don't go hand and hand IMO. Plus I've never been on a road trip in the 91.

So I'm wondering, What If I remove my back seats and get some plastic to protect carpet. Do you guys think the Trans and all the swap parts will fit into the car?

Or should I just play it safe and take the SUV?

Dumb question possibly, but I've never seen all the parts at once, so I have no clue.

And just for added clarification I'm talking about fitting the parts in my 91 z28.

I had my 700r4 in the trunk sitting on top of my gas tank. It also fits on the rear seats if folded down. T5 and t56 are both smaller than a 700r4 so they will fit.

I don't know interiors that well, but aren't there t-top case floor buckles where you can cinch down straps to hold it in place? Still not really safe to have 70 or 120lbs sitting up there if you were to get into a collision but...
