Transmission leaking fluid.

I just recently replaced the rear seal and pan gasket on my TH350. I haven't driven the car at all, as it's too cold down here right now. Open the garage last weekend and there's transmission fluid leaking like crazy. I have not been under the car yet to see where it might be coming from. Anyone else ever had this problem? Or any any suggestions as to where it could be leaking from?

Re: Transmission leaking fluid.

The easiest thing to do is to get down on the floor and look.

Please describe your refill procedure. I think you might have over filled it.

There are numerous places fluid can leak out of; extension housing/case seal, speedometer gear, fill tube, TV cable, etc.

It's possible I might have over filled it. I filled it back up through the dipstick tube. I know this should have been done while the engine was running and transmission in neutral, but due to a dead battery I couldn't start the car. I also noticed the speedometer cable is non exsistent.
