Question about Hurst Shifter on a T5
I picked up a used Hurst Billet Pro shifter on the classifieds and i'm running into an issue with the install. It's an 86 iroc with a T5.
Bolted right up, but the shifter handle is so far left that it will never work with my center console. When mounted in this configuration, it will hit all gears. (The hurst logo reads normally)

When I turn the shifter around, the handle is in the appropriate location, but I can't hit 1st 3rd or 5th. There's not enough throw. (The hurst logo reads upside down)

This is the shifter on the bench. Note the handle veers left when it should veer right.

I know these things are typically a straight forward install, but it won't work for me. What could be going on?
