Car: 89 Black GTA
Engine: 'close to' stock 5.7 but trending>>
Transmission: 700
Axle/Gears: 3.27

when accelerating onto the freeway, I can feel the trans drop into a lower gear, but it seems as if the converter is still locked because the car just isnt "launching" but rather seems as if the engine is lugging.
Is this a TV cable adjustment problem or does a tuning variable need a tweak?
