Quick question.

I picked up my brand new in box Yukon Duragrip posi today for $285. The seller also gave me some used 28 spline axles but not sure if they will work for the Z28. Is there anyway to verify without pulling old ones? They measure out to 30 inches +/-

If not I will go buy shop and see if they can compare.

Re: Quick question.

Axles for these cars are 30-5/16" if memory serves. (flange surface to tip of shaft)

Re: Quick question.

You are correct. Going to go by a few shops Monday to see what they say and if they won't work then I will buy new.

Re: Quick question.

Do not use axles that are too short. This will pull the axle in too far and cause problems with the brakes and possibly the seals and bearings. Use the correct axles.
