Dakota SGI-5 C & Samoco wiring help, TBI with T56 swap
Guys, I've searched and read lots of threads on here and read the instructions but need help. Put a T56 in my '91 firebird with a 5.0 TBI. Installed dakota & samoco boxes but can't get the speedo to work properly. I removed the buffer box and used the wiring to the buffer box and have the VSS inputs correct with the Samoco box wired inline. I have 2 outputs from buffer, one to speedo and one to ECM. Based on the dakota instructions, the 4000PPM (output 5 on box) goes to the speedo, 2000PPM to the ECM (output 4 on box). I haven't read anything on here though about 2 outputs from box with the exception of this thread, which is what I followed - https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...r4-dakota.html. Also, power light starts to blink when car is moving, is that correct? Any help is apprectiated.

I have mine with the first two dip switches down and the last two up. Output 5. Also running straight off the sensor to the dakota box, then to the speedo which is also a 4th gen dash. Hope that helps some. Mine like this works great.
