Re: converter lock up question
Swapped intake, kept the q-jet. The throttle bracket doesn't fit the same. Wondering if when I adjusted the tv cable if it pulls out further because the carb sits higher. Would that cause me to lose converter lock up or is it a switch. Thanks....Zapr

Re: converter lock up question
You need to make sure that the TV cable is set properly. Once you know this is set correctly you can chase other possible causes.

TCC lockup is controlled by the ECM and not the TV cable.

Re: converter lock up question
export models use a vacuum source to determine load for lockup. look for a vacuum line that isn't hooked up or loose somewhere.
