86 z28 clutch fork question.
86 z28 clutch fork question.
I had my slave cylinder blow a couple of days ago and I bought the new part and I think I need a part to the clutch fork. Where the slave cylinder attaches is a big hole now. Like the little plate that was bolted there is gone now. The bolts that secure the slave cylinder are still there. Like the middle piece snapped off. I was wondering if I need a new clutch fork as well or is that little plate that bolts the slave cylinder to the clutch fork replaceable?

Re: 86 z28 clutch fork question.
The slave cylinder has a plastic end that sets in a dimple part of the fork.
There's a shield that acts as the nuts, the bolts threading into it to retain the slave.
Nothing bolts the slave to the clutch fork.
