torque arm bushing for 87 v6
torque arm bushing for 87 v6
Rubber vs. Poly?
also, Summit lists all of there bushing for 84 - 92. but i have seen on this site that the flanges either face the drive shaft or face away from it. Do I need to crawl under the car and get a visual to know which one
?
I am so confused.

Re: torque arm bushing for 87 v6
Let me just dummy check this.....
I crawled under the car today and....
if you can imagine the torque arm as a "c" shape the open side of the C is facing te drive shaft. I guess if you were refering to it as a W, then the big end of the W is facing the driveshaft. So now what? Which part do i ask for? The use of the word lips or flange has me confused.

Here's a thread you're subscribed to. It offers pics and part numbers:

James,
That thread is what has me confused. Because it says te arm on the left is from earlier years. My car is a 87. And mine does not look like the arm on the right in that photo. So I was afraid he had the part numbers backwards. I hope I am making sense. Bcasue I am stuck on the fence myself.

There are only two choices regardless of year: lips facing drive shaft or lips facing away from drive shaft (as shown in the pics in the link above). The three 'points' of the W are either facing the drive shaft or facing away from it.
