LT1 Flwheel Question

Will my LT1 flywheel bolt onto an LT1 crank/short block that previously had a flexplate ?

By which I mean will the balance still be correct, or are the flexplate engines somehow different to the flywheel engines?

Thanks

Re: LT1 Flwheel Question

yes... it will bolt right up to -any- 87 and newer gen1 or gen2 small block or 4.3 V6 and have the correct balance.
but you really should get the proper longer bolts for it if you don't want it to fly off..
