Do i have to have a computer to run a T5 WC?

If you have an 82, you might have to swap the gear thingamabob (cant think of the name, damn bourbon) in the rear of the trans for the speedometer cable to hook to.
If you have a v8 WC trans, I think it comes with the VSS on the tailshaft because they were newer..?
someone correct me if I am wrong...

All that just un-bolts and re-bolts. All the old stuff fits the 2nd design T-5 just the same.
