Check out my new 1-liner in my sig. I put that there because of my T5 swap. I've been doing it since SEPTEMBER
I pulled the motor out to change a bunch of gaskets, and while the motor was out I installed the pedals and the master cyllinder. Getting the pedals in and getting the master cyllinder hole cut and installed is a MAJOR hassle. Everything else is just a bolt-in. My project has turned into a 3 month debacle because I didn't have all the parts I needed and I was forever making bolt runs. Cutting the hole in the floor for the shifter is a pain too, but not really too difficult. My only remaining hangup is trying to figure out how in the hell to detach the cable from my steering column that goes over to the auto shifter.
This is one of those projects that's a piece of cake the 2nd time, but is a major hassle the first time. Now that I've done it, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again, but the first time sucked.
