Car: 1987 Camaro Z28
Engine: 5.0 LG4
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 Bolt
speedo gear help
I'm having trouble finding out what speedo gear I need. I have an 87 z28 with a t5 in it. Getting ready to swap in a 9 bolt with 3:27 gears. I'm having trouble finding what colors I will need for it. I tried looking though the sticky but I cannot find it. Anyone know what i will need?

It's not a bad idea to verify what gears you have now. Taking the driven gear out allows it to be counted readily.
