How to install new converter?

Just got my 9.5 in the mail today and was wondering how to install it. i have no idea and it didnt come with any instructions. Thanks

Tehe way to install a stock converter...I dont know if the procedure would be any differnt for an aftermarket...


It slides on in 3 stages(for the 700r4)

Be sure it seats on all the way, if not, it wont work, and can damage the tranny.
the first 2 settings is pretty obvious, the third is a bit hard, but just move it back and forth while pushing on it and it will go on.
When it is all the way on, there should only be about 1cm or less beetween the back of the converter and the front of the trans.
then when it is in the car, you can slide it up to the flexplate.

Be sure to use threadlocker on the bolts, I dont know the torque specs, I just held the balancer bolt with a wrench and tightened the bolts as much as I could.
