Hello

I need help for this incredibly weird and ugly sound that my GTA has when it's cold, just after I started it and moving out of the garage. When the car moves forward and particularly if I go left or right (not straight), it produces this piercing "scraping" sound from the back.

After the first 1-2 minutes, it completely disappears.

I tried to get it in this video:

please note: since when I got the car, they told me it leaks some oil from the back (from the differential I think). Nothing big thei said, it leaks very very few.

 

As long as the recording is accurately depicting the sound , I will put 99.9% odds on that being a slightly dragging brake , that shuts up once a minute or two of driving has warmed it up . With the car stone cold (overnight cold) jack up the back end , put it in neutral , and try by hand to spin each back wheel , the one that don't spin well and feels "draggy" when you spin it is the one with the stuck brake .

Do you use your parking brake ? If so , it may be not releasing 100% and could be the reason for the dragging brake , especially if both back wheels feel like they're being held back from turning freely .
