T-56 release bearing tube
so im about to drop in my fresh eng build and im doing a parts check making sure all of my bolts and such are in place. call a friend that is familiar with the 56 and inquire about the release tube on how it goes in and such.
he says it should be attached. so i said i'll call ya back, let me see whats going on. after some research i found this is a common or somewhat common issue with the t-56.
i looked on youtube and the fella in the vid got one from lethal perf. they dont go that far back on the LT 56. does anyone know where i can get a better than stock replacement? i'll see if the gearbox has a beefed piece.

Re: T-56 release bearing tube
The Cobra piece is problematic. I really haven't seen problems with the GM 93-97 tube but miles and time do funny things.
Call TGB and they more than likely will have you covered.

The vid was on a stang trans. If there are less issues with the GM version then I'll get the one I found at my local NAPA. plus the NAPA part is about $50 cheaper.
